It is essential to remember any niggle, ache or pain experienced pre, during or after a game day needs immediate attention. The chance of prolonging your injury by not acting quick smart may impact you for the entire season.

Since the earliest information and research from the health and medicine, there has been a belief that early diagnosis and treatment improves both short and long-term injury recovery.

An article in 2012 investigated early intervention for adolescents with knee pain (Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome). This condition is generally characterised by pain around the knee cap due to improper movement of the knee pain during activities.

The results showed that education of early intervention for patients with knee pain is the optimal pathway for improving individual’s injury. Early intervention can also:

-      Improve return to work

-      Improve return to sport

-      Decrease chances of prolonging rehabilitation

Our physiotherapy management programs are tailored to everyone’s specific injury. We will assess all aspects of how it happened to determine the diagnosis. We will treat and manage your condition thoroughly and effectively to reduce impact not only on your sport, but also work and lifestyle.
