Meet Michael

Physiotherapist/ Director

M Phty, B ExSpSc, D Fit

From a very young age Michael has been involved in the fitness and health industry. His passion stemmed from the many years of professional swimming and competing where he was consistently visiting physiotherapists due to injuries. Being the patient for so long, Michael understands what it is like to be on the treatment table.

After many years of elite training, Michael decided to hang up his goggles and dedicate himself to helping others; the way that many had helped him. His journey began with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the Australian Catholic University and he then completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.

With the same motto he applied to his career as an athlete and a physiotherapist, he believes that the key to success is hard work, perseverance and loving what you do. Michael has a keen interest in using evidence-based research to develop new techniques and ideas to treat patients, He specialises in the use of ultrasound therapy and nerve glides to treat a variety of conditions. Michael has a specific interest in treating sporting injuries, acute and chronic peripheral nerve injury, meniscus tears, headaches and many more.
